Nupur Oza-Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Director of PT

Nupur received her Physical Therapy degree from MS University in 1989. Nupur has been a practicing Physical Therapy for over 30 years, working in almost all Physical Therapy settings, from acute care hospitals, rehabilitation/physical medicine facilities, to outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine facilities. She founded Proactive Physical Therapy in 2007 with the ultimate goal of providing “Compassionate Care with Outstanding Results”. She uses her Advanced Manual Therapy Skills, Patient Education and Electrotherapy for tissue healing as her guiding principles for all musculoskeletal injuries. She teaches her patients Ergonomics and Postural alignment for the workplace and home. She utilizes a holistic approach to patient care and is highly influenced by her extensive yoga practice and knowledge in her treatment approach. She emphasizes the same approach for breath control, postural alignment, and flexibility in designing a personalized care plan for her patients. She is a Certified Yoga Instructor (CYI) as well as a certified Clinical Instructor (CI) to train and mentor student physical therapists. She continues to advance her knowledge though continuing education, keeping up with evidence based physical therapy practices through attending conferences, seminars and keeping up with current research. Recently, her clinical case study “Effects of multi-modal therapy involving spinal mobilization and core muscle activation to improve functional outcomes and decrease musculoskeletal pain” was accepted at the annual California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) conference in 2018. Her passion for physical therapy and patient care comes through from the moment you meet her. She is an avid hiker, loves biking with her husband, and spending time with her two kids.

Nibha Kumbhani-Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)

Nibha received her Masters in Physical Therapy (MPT) from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. She has extensive experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She has treated patients with chronic pain conditions, pre and post-operative care, postural dysfunctions, repetitive stress injuries, low back pain and neck pain, just to name a few. Nibha is dedicated to evidence-based practice for optimal patient care. She believes in treating the body as a whole and not just treating a given injury. She is extremely compassionate about her work and a strong believer in “mind over matter”. When she is not working, Nibha enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is always looking for ways to further education and to stay current with ongoing Physical Therapy research.

Ritu Dudani-Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)

Ritu received her Masters in Physical Therapy from MS University, where she graduated first in her Physical Therapy cohort. Ritu has practiced in a variety of settings, including various musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, postural dysfunction, post-surgical rehab, as well as neurological conditions. She is also a Certified Yoga Instructor, and incorporates yoga techniques in her practice. She believes patient education is foundational in rehabilitation and partners with her patients to assist them in meeting their unique functional goals. Learning is a life long process and each day as a Physical Therapist grants her that opportunity. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, dancing and trying new foods.

Lenaisa-Front Desk Manager

Lenaisa was born and raised in the Philippines. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science majoring in Visual Basic and Java program in 2004. Additionally, she is also a Certified Nursing Assistant as well as Medical Billing and Coding. She has worked with autistic patients and in-home patients in a facility setting. With more than 7 years of experience in healthcare and working in the billing and coding sectors, she makes the patient’s needs her priority and assists in whatever questions or concerns they may have with treatment. In her free time, she loves to cook, travel, spend time with family and friends, and learn about different cultures and cuisines.
